HI Patti…thank you….I really want to go back and start to paint..it’s been two years almost since I have done anything seriously, but the writing gets in the way…and life, and dancing…and feeding the chickens.
you know…life.
thank you again!
Jane ( I love the 18th Century English Landscape school….I have patterned some of my paintings after that…I studied in Edinburgh for a while in 1990…but the countryside was more evocative of a painter’s itch than the classroom…so left school and wandered the countryside for a month. I think I learned more that way…and also studying 18-19th century Scottish embroidery…I’ll post a pix of the piece I am currently doing..it’s like painting with threads….same process…LOL!)

Ooooh Jane! They’re beautiful!! They remind me of 18th-century English paintings. Love them! My favourite is Spring…so evocative.

Oh avatara…my abilities are in poor measure to what I have seen in Europe…. I wish my training had been by another hand…or any hand besides my own.
But I have decided to start painting again…I have two paintings planned…an Owl…some owl, and a landscape.
It seems that I am drawn back to painting in great times of stress…
thank you, dear heart….you soothe mine more than you know.

Hi shia asked me to stop buy. I’m glad I did love the eagle in flight.
